BMW 5-series

Honda CR-V 2017

The base CR-V LX is fitted with a 184-hp, 2.4-liter four-cylinder, essentially carried over from the 2016 model. But the EX, EX-L, and Touring trim levels sport a 1.5-liter turbo engine with 190 hp. Slightly larger than the outgoing version, the fifth-generation CR-V is 1.4 inches wider and taller, and a smidge longer. The dimensional stretch promises a bit more cabin space. Yet despite the growth spurt, the CR-V weighs about 58 pounds less than before. A hands-free hatch opening on the Touring trim is activated by waving a foot under the bumper. An available 7-inch touch-screen infotainment system offers Android Auto/Apple CarPlay compatibility and Garmin navigation. Advanced safety gear such as forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, and blind-spot warning come with the EX trim. In addition, the EX, EX-L, and Touring will include adaptive cruise control, automatic high beams, lane-departure warning, and lane-keep assist.

Mercedes-Maybach S550 4MATIC 2017

With 449 horsepower and 516 lb-ft of torque routed to all four wheels through a nine-speed automatic transmission, Mercedes’ twin-turbo 4.7-liter V-8 flings the S550’s 5189 pounds to 60 mph in five seconds flat -real sports car. The quarter-mile takes just 13.5 seconds at 109 mph, while the governor steps in at 131 mph.The Maybach incorporates all of the latest safety and infotainment technology from the S-class.

Jeep Compass

The original Compass, developed under DaimlerChrysler's stifling management, was a mess, launching with a poor engine and transmission, impoverished interior materials and styling. The vehicle will be powered by 1.4-litre turbo petrol engine that will produce around 160 BHP – 250 Nm and 2.0-litre diesel that will churn out a maximum of 170 BHP and 350 Nm of torque.

Honda Civic Type R

Based on the new Mk10 family car, it sticks with the outgoing model’s 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbo, but ups power by 10bhp to 316bhp. It’s front-wheel drive and comes only with a six-speed manual box, as before. New Type R is likely to be slightly faster from 0-62mph than the outgoing car, which took 5.7 seconds.
